Refund Policy

Applies to all Motionry digital products · GDPR & EU Consumer Rights Directive

Summary

You can request a refund within 14 days of purchase if either:

  • You have not yet activated the download link, or
  • The Product contains a documented technical fault that we cannot fix within a reasonable time.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 working days.

1. Statutory context

Motionry sells digital content that is delivered instantly by download. Under Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content ceases to apply once performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent. You give that consent by ticking the mandatory checkbox at checkout.

Our voluntary refund policy below is more generous than the statutory minimum and applies in addition to any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer law of your country of residence.

2. When we refund

Eligible
  • — Refund requested within 14 calendar days of purchase
  • — Download link has not been clicked (activation is logged server-side)
  • — Documented technical fault reproducible on a supported host version
  • — Duplicate accidental purchase of the same pack
  • — Chargeback-free order in good standing
Not eligible
  • — Download link already activated with no reported fault
  • — "Change of mind" after the 14-day window
  • — Compatibility issues with hosts not listed on the Product page
  • — Requests where the file has been redistributed or shared
  • — Orders paid by chargeback attempt bypassing this policy

3. What counts as a "technical fault"

A technical fault is a reproducible defect on a host application and version listed on the Product page — for example, a preset that fails to load, a corrupted archive, or a LUT that produces clipping the Product page did not warn about. Cosmetic preference ("I don't like the look of the grain") is not a fault. We will always try to fix a fault by patch or replacement first; a refund is issued only if we cannot deliver a fix within 10 working days.

4. How to request a refund

  1. 1. Email [email protected] from the address you used at checkout.
  2. 2. Include your order number (found in the order confirmation email).
  3. 3. If reporting a technical fault, attach: host application + version, OS + version, a short screen recording or screenshot, and the file/preset name.
  4. 4. We reply within 2 working days with a decision or a request for more information.

5. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 working days. Depending on your bank, funds can take a further 3–5 working days to appear. We do not issue store credit unless you explicitly ask for it.

6. Access revocation

Once a refund is approved, the license and download links associated with the order are revoked. You agree to delete any copies of the Product held on your systems.

7. EU consumer rights

This policy does not affect your non-waivable rights under the consumer law of your country of residence. EU consumers may submit disputes to the online dispute resolution platform atec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
